The average children’s picture book is around 32 pages long,
Wim’s Ice Odyssey is a bit longer than that at 44 pages, this is because I wanted to include some extra’s to the story,
from some info of Wim Hof’s world records , safety suggestions and even a couple of warm up exercise’s,
so this can be your go-to-book when you are looking to inspire a child into cold water or exploring more about cold emersion.
If you don’t want to read it in all on go there are some easy places in the book to take a break.
As a mum who loves to cold water swim and feels its benefits physically and emotionally, daily, this book was written as an answer to conversations Jay had with her young son to help inspire him into cold water showers, wild swims and a bit of breath work with her.
The how-to section in the book based on Jay's experience and knowledge gained about how to participate in wild swimming safely.
